Flooring Installation
in St. Louis, MO

Hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, tile, and more — installed correctly the first time by a licensed, locally owned team serving the Greater St. Louis area.

New Floors That Change
Everything About a Room

Few home improvements have a more immediate visual impact than new flooring. The right floor ties a space together, makes rooms feel larger and brighter, and holds up to daily life for decades — when it's installed correctly.

Phoenix Construction Group has installed flooring in kitchens, living rooms, bedrooms, basements, and full multi-room jobs across the Greater St. Louis area. We handle everything from removal of your existing floors through final trim and transition installation, so the only thing you need to do is enjoy the result.

Missouri's climate — with its hot summers, cold winters, and humidity swings — puts more stress on flooring than many regions. We select materials and installation methods that account for that. Your floors won't gap, cup, or buckle because we prepped and installed them properly from the start.

What We Do

Full-Scope Flooring
Installation Services

Hardwood Flooring

Solid and engineered hardwood installation in oak, maple, walnut, and more. Nail-down, glue-down, and floating installation methods available based on your subfloor.

Luxury Vinyl Plank (LVP)

100% waterproof LVP — the ideal choice for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. Realistic wood and stone looks with better durability and easier maintenance than natural materials.

Ceramic & Porcelain Tile

Floor tile for kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, and basements. Large-format, mosaic, and traditional formats installed with proper substrate and grout for maximum durability.

Laminate Flooring

Durable laminate flooring in a wide range of wood and stone looks. A cost-effective option for bedrooms and low-moisture areas where you want the look of hardwood at a lower price point.

Subfloor Repair & Preparation

Proper subfloor prep is what makes the difference between floors that last and floors that fail. We repair damaged subfloor, level uneven sections, and install appropriate underlayment before any flooring goes down.

Floor Removal & Disposal

We remove and dispose of your existing flooring as part of the installation quote. No need to coordinate separate demo work or figure out disposal yourself.

Transitions & Trim

Threshold strips, T-moldings, reducers, and baseboards — all the finish details that make a flooring installation look complete and professional rather than like a half-finished job.

Stair Treads & Landings

Hardwood stair treads, LVP on landings, and carpet-to-hardwood conversions. Stairs done well pull the whole floor installation together — we don't skip them.

Common Questions

Flooring Installation FAQs

Which flooring holds up best to Missouri's humidity and temperature swings?

Engineered hardwood and luxury vinyl plank (LVP) handle Missouri's climate significantly better than solid hardwood — they're dimensionally stable and won't gap, cup, or warp the way solid wood can in our seasons. LVP is 100% waterproof, making it excellent for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements. We'll recommend the right material for each room based on the specific conditions.

How long does flooring installation take?

Most single-room or small multi-room flooring projects take 1–2 days. Whole-home installations or projects requiring significant subfloor repair may take 3–5 days. We give you a specific schedule before work begins so you can plan around it.

Can you install flooring over my existing floors?

Sometimes. It depends on the height of the existing floor and what's going on top of it. Installing over existing flooring can create threshold and door clearance issues and may hide subfloor problems that need to be addressed. We assess during your free consultation and recommend what's best for the long-term result — not what's easiest or cheapest for us to do.

Is old floor removal and disposal included in the quote?

Yes — demo and disposal is included in all our flooring installation quotes. You don't need to arrange a separate demolition crew or figure out how to dispose of the old flooring. We handle everything from start to finish.

Is there a minimum square footage?

No minimum. We've done everything from a single bathroom floor to complete whole-home flooring installations across every room. Every project — large or small — gets the same attention to prep work and finish quality.
